Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club
Tucked close to the intercoastal waterways of the Virginia Beach area is the Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club, an elegant spread of greens and blues that makes a perfect wedding and/or reception venue. If the name Cavalier sounds familiar to locals, it should. It's a popular mascot name for sports teams in the area, and there are two hotels on the Oceanfront bearing the name. The club, however, is a fair drive from the ocean, and one we'd recommend taking once in a while to enjoy the lush foliage. Though bear in the mind the club is private, and we suggest calling ahead to make arrangements for any formal celebrations.
