A Formal Greeting to the New Year
It's never too late to pick a up a beautiful formal dress for New Year's Eve. If you're near us and planning to go out for the evening, we hope you will stop by and browse our current inventory. You could be the hit of the New Year's Gala this year at the Doubletree Hotel (they currently have three New Year's packages available), or make the rounds of the clubs at the Waterside Marketplace (one cover charge gets you into FIVE bars in downtown Norfolk!).
If you act now, too, there are tickets still available for the Spirit of Norfolk New Year's Cruise. Holiday buffet, champagne toast, and dancing along the Elizabeth River...it's a great trip any time of year, and being on the Spirit gives you an excellent view of the downtown fireworks. Whatever you decide to do to celebrate the new year, though, we hope the night sees you home safely.
